Mushroom Harvesting
Mushroom harvesting is an extremely labor intensive job in harsh conditions. MDCI developed an automated mushroom harvesting system for picking mushrooms off the bed using a soft gripper and vision system that is capable of knowing the difference between a mushroom that is ready to pick and one that is not.

MDCI’s customer contracted with MDCI to design, develop, and deploy solar powered sensors in the Midwest to collect data on soil temperature, humidity, nitrogen levels, etc in order to predict yields for the coming year.
